Rapper Young Scooter Dies at 39 in Tragic Accident

Atlanta rapper Young Scooter, whose real name was Kenneth Edward Bailey, tragically passed away on his 39th birthday, March 28, 2025, following a freak accident. The incident occurred while he was fleeing from Atlanta police.

According to reports, officers responded to a call about shots fired and a woman being dragged back inside a home. Upon arrival, they encountered resistance. While one man retreated into the house, Young Scooter attempted to flee, jumping over two fences. During this attempt, he sustained a severe leg injury.

He was immediately rushed to Grady Marcus Trauma Center but was later pronounced dead. Contrary to initial reports, police have clarified that his injury was not a result of police gunfire. The Atlanta Medical Examiner's Office is currently investigating the exact cause of death.
